You’re Not Alone

If you have hurt someone you care about — physically, emotionally, or through control or intimidation — you are not alone. Change is possible, and accountability matters.

Who This Is For

This program is designed for people who have:

  • Used physical violence toward a partner
  • Engaged in emotional or psychological abuse
  • Used threats, intimidation, or coercive control
  • Been arrested or court-ordered
  • Scared or harmed a partner or family member

What This Is

Strength at Home is an evidence-based treatment program focused on behavior change and reducing harm. It is trauma-informed while remaining clear that responsibility for violence lies with the person who used it.

What This Is Not

Strength at Home is not:

  • Couples therapy
  • Anger management alone
  • A program that blames partners
  • A space to justify or minimize harm

Court Involvement

Strength at Home works with individuals who are court-ordered or probation-involved. Participation may be accepted by courts depending on jurisdiction and case requirements.

Next Steps

If you are seeking help or need information for court involvement, we can help you understand the intake process.

The next Strength at Home provider training is April 14-15.
