For Clients
You’re Not Alone
If you have hurt someone you care about — physically, emotionally, or through control or intimidation — you are not alone. Change is possible, and accountability matters.
Who This Is For
This program is designed for people who have:
- Used physical violence toward a partner
- Engaged in emotional or psychological abuse
- Used threats, intimidation, or coercive control
- Been arrested or court-ordered
- Scared or harmed a partner or family member
What This Is
Strength at Home is an evidence-based treatment program focused on behavior change and reducing harm. It is trauma-informed while remaining clear that responsibility for violence lies with the person who used it.
What This Is Not
Strength at Home is not:
- Couples therapy
- Anger management alone
- A program that blames partners
- A space to justify or minimize harm
Court Involvement
Strength at Home works with individuals who are court-ordered or probation-involved. Participation may be accepted by courts depending on jurisdiction and case requirements.
