Availability of quality intimate partner violence intervention services is uneven across different geographical areas and jurisdictions, and as we review in the article below, research evidence for the effectiveness of widely used programs has generally been poor or nonexistent. Another barrier for participation is affordability; clients who have difficulty paying program fees may evidence poor compliance with court-mandated intervention. In an effort to increase availability of evidence-based intimate partner violence intervention and to overcome barriers for client participation, Strength at Home has contracts with a number of court systems nationally to provide direct virtual no-cost services to individuals served by the courts.
Please contact us if you are interested in discussing a contract arrangement with Strength at Home to provide no-cost services for court-mandated individuals. Our recent research suggests that this program is as effective when delivered virtually as it is when delivered in person.
